The City has a huge number of parks and reserves to enjoy this summer so pop on some sunscreen, grab the family, and enjoy the great outdoors.
There are playgrounds aplenty to be explored in the City, including Theatre Gardens’ nature play space, Lake Jualbup’s climbing playground, and Subiaco Common’s playground complete with a stream and stepping stones.
There are also a number of smaller parks with great amenities such as Austin Street playground – which was recently replaced with all new equipment – and Mabel Talbot which has some great wildlife to spot.
You will soon be able to play a game of basketball, cricket, tennis, netball, lacrosse and ping pong at Rosalie Park as a new mix-use sporting area takes shape.
The City’s new community space includes a garden alongside a number of courts and facilities for different sports, and is expected to be ready for action in the coming months.
