At the August Council meeting, the Daglish Precinct Local Heritage Survey (LHS) was officially endorsed by Council.
This survey is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to document the history and cultural heritage significance of places in Daglish.
Developed with input from local residents and heritage experts, the LHS identifies 35 individual places and two heritage areas of cultural and historical significance within the Daglish precinct.
It provides a detailed record that will serve as a valuable resource for the community and future generations.
Mayor David McMullen said Daglish's heritage was an important part of the City of Subiaco's heritage.
“We know that our community values its local heritage, and Daglish's heritage is an important and distinct part of the broader heritage of our City,” he said.
“The Daglish Precinct Local Heritage Survey is a step in the identification and recognition of the unique heritage and history of the area; Daglish holds a special place in the wider Subiaco story.”
A copy of the survey will be available on the City’s website and at the Subiaco Library. You can read more on the City's dedicated engagement hub website,
