Due to the Premier’s announcement of a COVID-19 lockdown, the City’s Administration Centre, Subiaco Library, Lords Recreation Centre, Museum and other community facilities, such as community centres and playgrounds, are now closed until 6pm Friday 5 February.
Lords is expected to reopen 7am Saturday 6 February unless lockdown restrictions are changed or extended. There will be no access to the centre until then and all programs, court bookings, classes and sports competitions have been cancelled until Saturday. All memberships will be suspended free of charge and will not affect your suspension entitlements. Direct debit payments will also be suspended.
Subiaco Library and Museum are expected to reopen on Saturday 6 February unless lockdown restrictions are changed or extended. Library returns will not be accepted until the library reopens; fines will not be issued for items due during the closure.
City staff are still working and continue to provide essential services to the community, including waste collection. You can contact the City via email, phone (9237 9222) or online services.
A message from Mayor Penny Taylor
"It is absolutely critical that we all follow the health advice and stay home, practice physical distancing and personal hygiene. If you have been in any of the contact locations listed by the State Government it is vital you get tested.
A full list of restrictions, including a link to the locations visited by known cases, can be found on the WA Department of Health website.
I encourage our community to work together once more to keep each other safe and healthy, and continue to support our local businesses who can still trade – they’re vital to our vibrant community.
I thank you all for your patience as we navigate through these uncertain times once more."
