The City will be supporting two events in the latter half of this year to help increase vibrancy and visitation in the town centre, and add to the diversity of events held across Subiaco.
At this week’s meeting, Council voted to support UnWined Subiaco and Secret Gardens through the See Subiaco Event Sponsorship Program.
Unwined is a popular premium wine festival that has taken place in Subiaco for the last 10 years; it will once again be held in October in Market Square Park.As well as attracting people to the event itself, the event organisers have a proven track record of working collaboratively with local businesses to help attract ticket holders to other Subiaco hotspots before and after the main event.
Secret Gardens will be delivered in late October or early November and is a unique chance for people to discover Subiaco’s most inspiring private and public garden spaces for one weekend only.
The See Subiaco Event Sponsorship Program has two annual rounds to a maximum value of $15,000 per event, and a smaller year-round quick response opportunity for events and festivals.
