City supports the arts and community in latest funding round

Through its community grant program, the City has supported three worthy arts and community initiatives.

Curate Arts
Curate Arts Inc. were awarded $2,500 for Gurraway, an immersive art exhibition by Koori Aboriginal artist, Tabatha Davison, that explores connection to country and the Stolen Generation. All works will be on show from November 2024.

Rosalie Primary School Parents & Citizens Association
Rosalie Primary School Parents & Citizens Association Inc. were awarded $1,500 for the Rosalie Primary School Community Fete. This seed money will help put deposits on stalls, equipment and entertainment for the triennial Rosalie Village Fete before going towards a new nature playground. Visit the fete on Saturday 16 November.

Subiaco Children’s Centre
Subiaco Children’s Centre received $1,000 to host a community event in honour of their 30th anniversary. The celebrations will be held on the Subiaco Primary School oval on Sunday 18 August.
