Today marks the start of National Volunteer Week (NVW); an opportunity to celebrate the passionate volunteers that make the City of Subiaco so vibrant.
Volunteering is an excellent way to care for and contribute to our Subiaco community, and is also a great way to connect with new people.
The City’s National Volunteer Week lunch for 2022 has unfortunately been postponed due to COVID-19, but the 2021 Volunteer lunch saw Sheila Davis take out the Subi Volunteer of the Year Award for going above and beyond in her duties as a volunteer in our Positive Ageing program.
The 2022 winner will be revealed once the lunch is rescheduled.
The City extends its appreciation to all Subiaco volunteers, including those who are part of the City’s volunteer programs; Books on Wheels, English Conversation Club, Environmental Program, Positive Ageing Ambassadors, Lords Exercise Community Classes, Museum Programs, Subi Voice of Youth, and Justice of the Peace.
If you or somebody you know would like to sign up for one of these programs, read more about the City's volunteering opportunities
