ANZAC Day in Subiaco

Help remember and commemorate those who served our country, this ANZAC Day in Subiaco.

The Subiaco-Shenton Park RSL Sub Branch will be holding a march at 8am on Sunday 25 April, starting at Subiaco Post Office and finishing with a service at 8.15am at the Fallen Soldiers War Memorial on the corner of Rokeby and Hamersley roads.

Following the service a morning tea will be provided in the Council Chambers at the City’s Administration Centre.

Subiaco Museum will be open afterwards from 9am to 11am with a special free exhibition showcasing the efforts of the Subiaco community during wartimes.

“All community members are invited to come along to this special ANZAC Day march, service and morning tea,” Mayor Penny Taylor said.

“Last year services were cancelled across the state due to the pandemic, so I’m very pleased we can come together once more to remember and commemorate those who served.”

There will also be a service at Shenton Park Community Centre at 7am on Sunday 25 April.
