The City has released its
2021 Heritage Achievements Report which covers some of the highlights of how the City is preserving its history.
The achievements cover the Subiaco Museum, planning services, heritage listings and grants, and community engagement.
This year we spotlight:
- The renovation of a 1922 heritage-listed corner store in Hensman Rd assisted by our heritage grants program.
- Our Local Heritage Survey of the Triangle Precinct that resulted in 33 new places being included.
- Our three new heritage listed buildings.
- Our new heritage area signs.
- Discoveries in our museum collection including a 1903 accordion and silver dinner gong, both wonderfully preserved.
Through our ongoing commitment to preserving the history and culture of Subiaco, we can ensure that we remain connected to the rich history of the City.
