Come and join us in our regular Storytime session as we read the same book more than a million children all over Australia will be listening to for National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS). This event is held annually to promote the value of reading and literacy, using an Australian children’s book. This year it will be celebrated all across Australia and New Zealand!
This year the NSS book is ‘Family Tree' written by Josh Pyke and illustrated by Ronojoy Ghosh. This is a heartfelt celebration of family, community, the seasons of life, to both cherish and to share.
It started with a seed, and that seed was me. And, over time, laughter filled my garden…
Come to Subiaco library to join the fun as we repeat the National Simultaneous Storytime experience with stories, craft and games to follow the Storytime session.
Please be sure to book a ticket for every person attending including children.
NOTE: Please do not attend Subiaco Library if you are feeling unwell, you are most welcome to cancel your free ticket at any time and re-book into future upcoming events when you are feeling better and are symptom free. We ask that all visitors maintain good hand hygiene and utilise the hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities available when attending events. Getting to the event: Subiaco Library has limited parking bays available at the rear of the building including two accessible parking bays. Three hour ticketed parking is available behind Subiaco Church off Rowland Street. For more information on getting around Subiaco visit the city’s website.
