Join us for a fun Storytime session with special guests presenters from The Magic Coat. Meet the special characters who live in the pockets in The Magic Coat. Tate the turtle, Solomon the surfboard, starfish, a seahorse called Sebastian and on octopus - just to name a few! There will be singing, dancing and a fun craft activity.
The Magic Coat program has been designed to help children develop strategies to deal with a number of difficult situations including anxiety and bullying. The characters empower the children to problem solve for themselves, without always needing an adult. The coat and the characters, combined, encourage children to be resilient, confident and calm through their day.
Please be sure to book a ticket for every person attending including children.
NOTE: Please do not attend Subiaco Library if you are feeling unwell. You are most welcome to cancel your free ticket at any time and re-book into future upcoming events when you are feeling better and are symptom free. We ask that all visitors maintain good hand hygiene and utilise the hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities available when attending events. Getting to the event: Subiaco Library has limited parking bays available at the rear of the building including two accessible parking bays. Three hour ticketed parking is available behind Subiaco Church off Rowland Street. For more information on getting around Subiaco visit the city’s website.
