Subiaco Business Conference
Conference program available here
Get ready for the future of your business.
Modern business embraces innovation and even ‘disruption’ – but what does that mean for the business community?
As long as we’re prepared to adapt, it can mean opportunity. The digital economy doesn’t have to be an either/or proposition for established businesses, bricks and mortar retail, hospitality or other service industries.
The Subiaco Business Conference has been specifically organised for the businesses to examine modern challenges and provide inspiration and practical skills in equal measure.
The conference will be a half-day event, featuring presentations and discussion with business leaders such as Amanda Stevens (winner of the 2018 Keynote Speaker of the Year award) and the home-grown success story that is Michael Malone, founder and former CEO of iiNet.
Joining them will be Subiaco Mayor Penny Taylor, local financial technology innovator Jack Quigley (CrowdfundUp), marketing and board professional Nicolle Jenkins (The Hub) and financial business advisor Dean Hemmingsen (NKH).
The conference will also feature one-hour breakout workshops covering leasing and property advice, visual merchandising, digital media marketing and customer service, providing practical, tangible skills for participants. Each workshop will run twice, keeping the workshop sizes meaningful and manageable, and allowing you to pick and choose your areas of interest.
Presenters include noted customer service guru Chris Smoje, stylists and visual merchandisers Rob Marshall and Hailey Edwards, social media expert Brooke Vulinovich (Villa Management) and professional leasing consultant David Halvorsen (Tenant Lease Advisory).
Each of these workshops will challenge business-as-usual attitudes, and help you emphasise the unique character and offering of your business.
The inaugural Subiaco Business Conference is proudly presented by the City of Subiaco.
