The master plan for the Subi East Redevelopment has been finalised.
The plan will guide future development of the area which is expected to accommodate more than 2700 new residential dwellings.
Public consultation on the draft plan was open for 60 days and closed on 10 September.
A number of changes were introduced into the final plan, including a cap on building heights for landmark sites (up to 30 storeys), reduced building heights at some locations, better access into the PMH neighbourhood and some additional public open space.
The master plan includes provisions for a potential City of Subiaco community recreation facility with basement public parking (subject to Council business case).
