Community feedback still needed to plan for the future
Thursday 26 March 2020

To continue to build on the City’s strong community and plan for growth in the future, the City is developing its first Social Infrastructure Plan, with a survey for the community to have their say open until Friday 3 April.

Social infrastructure includes facilities, services and networks such as libraries, community halls, arts and culture, parks and reserves, recreation centres, education and training, health and wellbeing, safety and emergency, community spaces, and more.

While we may not be able to use many of these physical facilities right now due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the City is inviting community feedback to inform the plan for the future.

The survey aims to understand the community's views in relation to the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges associated with social infrastructure in the City, with the results set to guide decision-making on what to invest in and what to advocate for on behalf of the community.

If you fill out the survey, you'll also be in with a chance to win a $100 voucher to a local restaurant of your choice for future use.

The survey and FAQs can be accessed on the City’s online engagement hub.
