A Special Council Meeting of the City of Subiaco will be held at 5.30pm on Thursday 2 April 2020. In response to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, the Special Council Meeting will be attended remotely (electronically) by elected members, City staff and members of the public.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider a range of recommendations in relation to the following reports:
- Local Business Response Package to COVID-19
- Planning and compliance changes to respond to COVID-19
- Rates, Fees and Charges to respond to COVID-19
- Rent relief for tenants of the City of Subiaco
The meeting agenda will be available on the agenda and minutes page.
Future Meetings of Council will be attended remotely (electronically) by elected members, city staff and members of the public. Meetings will be held via video-conference (Zoom.us). A link for the eMeeting will be provided on our website and members of the public will be able to observe.
Members of the public can submit public questions for the Special Council Meeting in accordance with the City’s procedure. To submit a public question, email email@example.com before 5pm on Wednesday 1 April. Please provide your name, address and question.
In accordance with regulation 14E(4) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, Council will determine a procedure for the conduct of public question time during all electronic council meetings. The public questions procedure for the special council meeting will be determined by Council at the meeting.
Once determined, the updated procedure will be published on the City’s website. The City's administration is setting up public access to electronic Council Meetings and will provide the link and instructions soon.
