The City has partnered with the Western Suburbs Regional Organisation of Councils (WESROC), to offer City of Subiaco households and businesses up to eighty local native plants for their verge and garden at the subsidised cost of $1.75 each.
As well as enhancing and supporting local biodiversity, native plants require little water or fertiliser once they’re established – plus they make for a beautiful garden or verge.
During this time, APACE Nursery is offering a ‘click and collect’ service via their website so you can stay safe, but still order what you need to work on your home garden and verge.
The scheme is limited and operates on a first–come, first-served basis. Proof of residency is required.

Update 28 April 2020: the Local Native Plant Subsidy Scheme has now sold out.
