sunset@subi concerts return for 32nd season
Thursday 5 December 2019

City of Subiaco’s popular sunset@subi concert series is back for its 32nd season to help locals make the most of the warm summer evenings.
This year’s performers at the free outdoor concerts cover a range of genres from pop and Aussie rock to rhythm and blues, and everything in between.
sunset@subi concert goers are encouraged to bring along a picnic dinner or grab something from one of Subi’s delicious local eateries, before enjoying the live music as the sun goes down on a relaxed Sunday.
There will be six concerts in total, running from 22 December 2019 to 2 February 2020, and an Auslan interpreter will be present at select shows to allow people of all abilities to immerse themselves in the entertainment.
City of Subiaco Mayor Penny Taylor said the sunset@subi concert series was well loved by the community who had been supporting the event for over 30 years.
“This is a popular event with locals; it’s loved for its relaxed vibe, great live music, and family feel,” she said.
“The series really brings the community together, but there are also visitors from outside the City who have made a bit of a tradition of attending these family-friendly concerts.”
Last year’s concerts saw more than 5000 people attend across six big nights, and this year is expected to draw similar crowds to the City.
All concerts are free to attend and no bookings are required. It’s free to park in City-owned car parks all weekend – no ticket required. Locate the City carparks through
