Audit and Risk committee

This committee guides and assists the City in carrying out its financial management and auditing functions and reports to Council on the City’s progress of such matters.

We’re looking for candidates with business or financial management and reporting knowledge and experience. You will be familiar with financial and other reporting requirements, or have formal auditing, accounting or company director experience.

Disability Access and Inclusion Committee

Would you like to ensure an inclusive community where everyone can participate equally?

Join the Disability Access and Inclusion Committee which advises Council and officers, and advocates on behalf of people experiencing barriers to community participation. Individuals with an interest in access and inclusion or who work with people with disability are encouraged to apply.

Economic and Business Sustainability Committee

We’re calling on business owners, commercial property owners and economic specialists to nominate for this committee. If you have an interest in the town centre and business community and want to contribute your knowledge to help develop business strategies, initiative and actions – we want to hear from you.

Members of this committee include local business representatives and members of the Western Suburbs Business Association. The committee is a key link between the City and its business community and meets every two months.
