From the ninth storey of the soon-to-open Park Regis Hotel, the City of Subiaco launched its new business prospectus which aims to instil confidence in Subiaco’s future investors and shows why Subiaco is primed for business investment.
More than 50 industry influencers, investors, developers, commercial real estate agents and property managers attended the launch event to hear about Subiaco’s unique strengths and opportunities.
Three of Subiaco’s major industries (Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; Health Services; and Education) were recently recognised as growth industries in Australia.
With major redevelopment and infrastructure projects underway and a growing residential and worker population, Mayor Penny Taylor said now was the time to invest in Subiaco.
“The City of Subiaco is focussed on collaboration and cooperation by making it easy to do business in Subiaco and with the City,” she said.
“The future for Subiaco is exciting and we’re offering an invitation and opportunity to be part of the wave that is re-energising Subiaco,” Mayor Taylor said.
The new Subiaco: Open for Business prospectus provides information about Subiaco’s current key industries, projected growth industries, development opportunities and major projects.
The new prospectus supports the City’s other business-friendly initiatives including free evening and weekend parking, first-hour free parking in the town centre, waiving alfresco dining fees and reducing red tape.
