Subi Farmers Market are celebrating their seventh birthday this weekend. As well as the usual selection of fresh produce and locally produced goods, celebrations will be in full swing with free birthday cake, children’s activities, yoga on the oval and live music.
The city has proudly supported the community-led market since its inception in 2009. During this time, the market has become a community hub for market-goers, performers and vendors, attracting around 3000 people every Saturday.
City of Subiaco Mayor Heather Henderson said that Subi Farmers Market is a wonderful asset for Subiaco and is an important meeting place for locals and visitors alike.
“The market amplifies the Subiaco sense of community. On behalf of everyone at the City of Subiaco, I would like to congratulate Subi Farmers Market on their success and wish them a very happy birthday!”
Subi Farmers Market is open every Saturady from 8am to 12pm at Subiaco Primary School. For more information about the market and market vendors visit the Subi Farmers Market website (external site) or visit their Facebook page (external site).
