Did you know that planting local native species enhance the biodiversity in the area?
The city, in partnership with the Western Suburbs Regional Organisation of Councils (WESROC), is offering households and businesses within the City of Subiaco up to eighty local native plants for their verge and garden at the subsidised price of $1.50 each.
Plants on offer include trees, shrubs, sedges and ground covers, with popular native plants such as kangaroo paws and grevilleas just some of the beautiful species available.
Plants are available at APACE Nursery between Monday 2 May and Saturday 30 May. To take advantage of this generous offer, present APACE staff with proof of City of Subiaco residency (driver’s license, utility bill etc.).
