Parking, waste, safety and rates information for businesses
Find affordable customer parking with Subipark
Subipark is a City of Subiaco initiative designed to help drivers locate affordable parking in a simple and easy way – the way parking should be. The Subipark website is a great resource for business owners to use and share with customers to help change the perception about parking in Subiaco.
The City manages 28 on-street and off-street carparks. In all town centre carparks, parking is free for the first hour. There are also a number of long-term carparks offering parking for just $5 a day. To find carparks, prices and resources available to businesses, visit www.subipark.com.au.
Commercial parking permits
You may be eligible for a commercial parking permit if you are temporarily working on a building site or development. Commercial parking permits allow any trades persons or utility services to park near a development without having to observe parking restrictions in place. Successful applicants are required to pay a fee. Apply for a commercial parking permit (PDF, 131KB)
Parking management for private properties
Did you know City Rangers can help manage vehicles that are parked without authorisation on your private property? This scheme is designed to protect parking bays on commercial and retail premises. New applicants are required to pay a registration fee of $115 and purchase carpark signage for $67 (small sign) or $77 (large sign). The annual renewal fee for existing applicants is $90. To join the scheme, download and complete the application form.
Waste and recycling
Commercial waste bins
The standard commercial service is a 240-litre general waste bin ($529.00 per annum). Additional bin services are available at $581.90 each and can be requested by contacting the City.
Commercial recycling bins are emptied fortnightly on the same day as your regular bin service. Businesses may request additional 240-litre recycling bins at no extra cost, by contacting the City.
The City supplies businesses with cardboard collection sacks that are collected weekly on Friday mornings. Collection sacks must contain clean, flattened cardboard and should not be too heavy. To arrange delivery of sacks to your business, contact the City on 9387 0921.
