Native Bees Buzz - Free presentation event

Most people know about bees from what they hear in the manullss media around the ‘bee apocalypses’ of honeybees.

Yet not only are honeybees not at risk of extinction, they are taking away the limelight from our indigenous bees that really need our help. Do you want to learn how to encourage native bees, such as the blue banded bee, to your garden?

Join Kit Prendergast, the Bee Babette and PhD researcher, for a presentation to learn about our fascinating native bees and what actions we can all do to protect them.

Kit will bring along some examples of bee hotels which you can make for your own home.

Those attending the presentation will get to take home some bee-friendly natives plants to encourage bees to visit your garden!
