NAIDOC Week Welcome to Country and Flag Raising

Join us for a traditional Welcome to Country and Flag Raising Ceremony as we recognise NAIDOC Week and the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 

The ceremony will start with a Welcome to Country before a flag raising ceremony led by members of our community.

After the ceremony, you are invited to join us in the Council Chambers for morning tea.

All members of the community are welcome to attend this free event.

We ask that all guests maintain good hand hygiene and utilise the hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities available when attending events. Please maintain social distancing when attending events and if you have any concerns raise them with our friendly staff.
