Loans and returns
Library members can borrow up to twenty items for a period of three weeks. Items can be returned to Subiaco Library via the indoor returns chute during opening hours, or via the after hours returns chute when the library is closed. Items not returned by the due date may incur charges.
Items can be renewed by telephone, email or by logging into your online account. Items cannot be renewed if:
- they have been requested by another member
- are more than one week overdue
- have already been renewed twice.
Joining the library
Membership to Subiaco Library is free and available to any resident of Western Australia. Customers may join online or come into the library in person.
Library meeting room - The Nook
The Nook is Subiaco Library's general purpose meeting space available to members of the public, community groups, organisations and clubs. The room is free to book for groups of two to four people for up to two hours at a time. The room cannot be used for any profitable or business related activities. Computers, Wi-Fi and printing
Subiaco Library has public computers with Microsoft Office software and internet access. Free wireless internet is also available inside and outside the library.

A3 black and white
Scanning services are available at no charge but you must bring your own USB device.
Subiaco Library offers printing from any internet- connected device. Documents for printing can be sent via the web portal, email or by downloading the printing app on your device. To begin mobile printing, follow these simple instructions (PDF 317KB).
Justice of the Peace
The City facilitates a Justice of the Peace (JP) service for local community members who need documentation witnessed. The service is available at Subiaco Library every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 2pm to 3pm. No bookings necessary. Should your document require a second witness signature, please bring someone along with you.
Housebound delivery services
The library offers a housebound delivery service for residents who are temporarily or permanently housebound and unable to visit the library. Contact the library on (08) 9237 9300 to find out more or determine your eligibility.
