Positive ageing

The City has implemented some changes to events and programs in response to WA Department of Health’s advice regarding COVID-19.

Social activities for seniors resume

Coffee club is back!

The fortnightly Seniors Coffee Club has resumed and is open to anyone to come along and meet new people or catch up with old friends. The group meets at 10am on Tuesday mornings at different locations. Attendees can choose to purchase food and refreshments. Visit the events calendar for details, or contact us on 9237 9339.

Seniors service providers

Government subsidised programs such as Home and Community Care (HACC) are delivered by a variety of service providers to support eligible City residents to remain in their own homes. For further information please visit the My AgedCare website or phone 1800 200 422.

Subiaco Community Transport Service

Do you require assistance to access facilities and services in the community? The City's Subiaco Community Transport Service may be just what you need. For further information on this program visit the Access and Inclusion page.

Community shopping bus

As part of its commitment to fostering an age-friendly community, the City maintains close connections with organisations who can assist the City’s residents with a fortnightly door-to-door shopping bus service.

The bus goes to Floreat Forum Shopping Centre on the Friday of 'pension week'. Numbers are limited and bookings are essential. Residents will be asked to pay a fee which may vary according to your circumstances. Other conditions may apply.
