Your rates

Property rates fund a wide range of facilities, services, and operations in the City of Subiaco.

In the 22-23 budget, an increase was inevitable to continue to provide services to our residents and businesses.

There was an increase to waste service fees with the implementation of the Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) waste system. This increase on the waste services charge will help facilitate the roll out of FOGO and the additional green waste collections, and only equates to an extra $19 for the year for residents. For the vast majority of residents, the combined rates and waste increase represents less than $1.10 per week.

There is also no increase to the minimum rate ($1190).

The State Government Emergency Services Levy, which the City is required to collect, has increased by 4.6 per cent this year.
