TravelSmart Business
TravelSmart Business is a free service offered by the City, and supported by ProSubi providing personalised information and incentives to help your staff to use a sustainable travel mode to get to work.
How does it work?

Employees of participating businesses can request detailed information on public transport, cycling, walking and carpooling to work. This includes:
Maps and timetables
· bus, train, ferry, cycling, and walking routes
· public transport timetables.
Technical information
· using a SmartRider card, basic bicycle maintenance
Bike maps
· Perth Bicycle Network (safe routes), bike parking
A Personal Journey Plan
· a list of options for getting to work based on your home address.
· includes a comparison of travel times for each option.
Prizes and giveaways
· vouchers, discount cards, backpacks and movie tickets.
How do staff request information?
Staff select the information they are interested in by completing an Information request sheet. The information requested by staff will be delivered to your workplace.
There are three ways to get Information request sheets for your staff:
- Contact the city on 9237 9222 or email cathyg@subiaco.wa.gov.au
- Print off a hard copy of the Information request sheet for your staff and contact the city on the above details for collection of materials.
- Download the electronic version of the Inforamtion request sheet and email it to staff members. Staff can save it to their desktops, complete the form electronically and email it back to cathyg@subiaco.wa.gov.au.
All staff will recieve a copy of the Public transport map and the Cycling and walking map which displays all of the transport options in Subiaco. Staff can also request one of these maps for their home suburb.

TravelSmart Business: Results
There is significant potential to reduce car trips to work in Subiaco. For example, the Perth TravelSmart Survey found that 55% of trips to work were less than 5km, which is a 25 minute bike ride.
