The playground at Theatre Gardens will be closed for renovations from Monday 11 March.
The timber, which has been in place for 12 years, will be given two fresh coats of varnish for added protection against the elements.
The timber decking at the top of the slide will also be replaced, and mulch will be added around the playground area.
The City apologises for any inconvenience. The nearest playgrounds are located at Austin Street, Lake Jualbup or Richard Diggins Park.
