From a Vegas-style tribute to the hits of the ‘60s to award-winning flamenco dancing, audiences will be spoilt for choice when Subilicious returns this Fringe season!
Subilicious, the City of Subiaco’s very own FRINGE WORLD hub, is back with a jam-packed program for 2023.
Spanning across three venues; the iconic Regal Theatre, Subiaco Arts Centre and the Irish Club of WA Theatre, Subilicious events run from Friday 20 January to Sunday 19 February 2023.
Program highlights include
The 60 Four: In Concert; showcasing the best of The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley and more with a nine-piece band, TARA –
Tuatha Dé Danann; a unique show based on the art form of Irish dance, and
Fire on Ice; an absurdist comedy about a firefighting force in Antarctica who have never seen a fire before, and need to urgently put one out.
Subilicious ticketholders can enjoy discounts at a range of local businesses in Subiaco, including:
- The Village Bar – 25 per cent off total food bill
- Bark Bar – 20 per cent off your first round of drinks, before and after the show
- Bar Amelie – 10 per cent off all food and drink
- Pitcher and Iron – 10 per cent off the dessert menu bill.
For the first time, See Subiaco has partnered with the State Government’s Arts and Culture Trust to present Subilicious; a hub offering plenty of entertainment, including comedy, music, magic and theatre to the City of Subiaco since 2019.
City of Subiaco Mayor David McMullen said, “It’s fantastic to see the Subilicious FRINGE WORLD hub back for another year, as it provides a great opportunity for family and friends to get together and enjoy entertainment in some iconic Subiaco venues.
“This year there’s truly something for everyone; from a gospel choir and Irish dancing to a fantastic 1960s tribute band, so I’d encourage people to book their tickets and enjoy discounts on dinner and drinks before or after the show.”
The program has been specially curated to shine a spotlight on Subiaco and the town centre as a destination for arts, culture and creative experiences.
