This November, Guide Dogs WA ambassador Eva will be visiting Rankin Gardens for a special dementia awareness session.
Interacting with animals can have many benefits for a person with dementia, while also reducing anxiety and depression.
This event with Guide Dogs WA will provide pleasure and relaxation to people living with dementia, their carers, and anyone else who would like to come along to meet Eva.
It will also provide an opportunity for those living with dementia to reminisce on pets they have owned, and good memories they have with animals.
Tea, coffee, and morning tea will be available.
