New food and wine coming to ONE Subiaco

A number of new eateries are getting ready to open their doors at ONE Subiaco in the coming weeks and months, proving that Subiaco’s renaissance is only gaining momentum.

Ozrif Burgers is bringing another great burger option to the City slinging juicy burgers and moreish fries and drinks.

Maylands institution, Commune Wine Store, has just announced they’ve chosen Subiaco for their second location so locals will be able to pick the brain of their expert staff before picking up a bottle of something unique from the handpicked selection of wines, spirits, beers and ciders.

Fresh from a research trip to Palestine to discover the very best chicken and bring it back to Australian shores, the team behind Subiaco favourite, Shui, will be delivering some big flavours when they open Larry’s Charcoal Chicken in 2024.

These new eateries will join a number of recently opened businesses on the ground floor of ONE Subiaco, including Market Caff for a caffeine fix, Pavilion Fresh Market by MCQ for a variety of international and fresh produce, and Saigon Alley for authentic Vietnamese street food.

The anchor tenant of the building, Subiaco Continental (by Miles Hull, the hospitality whiz behind Little Creatures), has been receiving rave reviews from people across Perth for its upscale, modern take on a bistro and tavern.

The expansive alfresco area, open kitchen, aesthetic bar and delicious all-day European-inspired menu has quickly solidified it as a favourite of locals and visitors alike.

The City has been investing heavily in the public realm to upgrade some key nodes along Rokeby Road including Seddon Street which joins the new ONE Subiaco development.

This has created a more pedestrian-friendly, useable space that encourages people to linger longer and can now be used for community events.

Other recent openings across the City include Bar Banter, Onyx and Smoke, and Grain Bakery in Shenton Park, which just opened today and is pouring $1 coffees this Saturday and Sunday to celebrate.
