More parking bays available in Subiaco town centre

A new 136-bay car park has opened at 10 Rokeby Road.

The City has worked with property owners Blackburne to make the basement car park at ONE Subiaco available as public parking.

The car park contains 136 parking bays made up of 109 standard bays, two ACROD bays and 24 motorcycle bays. There is also one electric vehicle charging station available.

Parking is free for the first hour, then is $2.50 per hour (maximum $15.00 per day) from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Cheaper rates apply after 6pm on weekdays, and on weekends.

Mayor David McMullen said, “We know that residents and visitors come to our City to enjoy all our amazing shops, cafes, and restaurants, and this new car park in a central location will provide easier access to our thriving retail and hospitality outlets.”

As well as the new parking bays, there are many public parking options available throughout the City of Subiaco, for more see: www.subiaco.wa.gov.au/parking.

Income that the City generates from parking is reinvested back into the community, including through infrastructure upgrades, cultural and diversity programs, and assisting the City’s community groups and clubs.
