If you’re a parent, grandparent or carer looking for activities to keep children warm and active during the crisp days of the coming winter school holidays, Lords Recreation Centre have the perfect solution, with the launch of their winter school holiday program.
With a range of activities that blend fun, education and socialising, we encourage you to
enrol early, as spots book up faster than you can say woolly mittens!
Dates and Times:
Sports Day| Monday 10 July | 9am - 3pm | $65
Children attending this activity will form a sports team where everyone’s a winner! Our leaders will engage participants in making new friends through teaching skills in basketball, soccer, football and pickleball. For extra points, dress in your favourite sports team’s colours.
Gardening Fun Day | Tuesday 11 July | 9am - 3pm | $65
Children will enjoy decorating their own garden pot, and plant a beautiful succulent to take home. The rest of the day will be spent playing sports and court games with new friends. Old clothes are advised to allow for maximum muddy fun!
Messy Creations | Wednesday 12 July | 9am - 3pm | $65
Children will be making their own slime and jigsaw puzzles – which they can take home at the end of the day for many more hours of fun! Once again, dig out some old clothes for this wonderfully messy, crafty day.
Pyjama Fun Day| Thursday 13 July | 9am - 3pm | $65
A fun day of themed games, movies and popcorn, as well as plenty of sports and court games throughout the day. The best bit? You don’t have to get out of your pjs all day!
Carnival Sports Day| Friday 14 July | 9am - 3pm | $65
A carnival-style day where teamwork and thinking caps will be put to the test. There will be a mixture of sports carnival games and team-based activities.
