Lords team cycle for a cause at Telethon 2023

For the second year running, members of the Lords Recreation Centre team and City staff (including Mayor David McMullen) raised funds for Telethon as part of the HBF Fitness Challenge. 

Taking it in turns to ride stationary bikes for six hours straight outside RAC Arena, the Lords Telethon team raised $7000 for a very worthy cause.  

Lords also held a number of cycle classes with the theme ‘Ride the Rainbow’ to tie in with the Children’s Hospital colourful bridge. Riders were encouraged to dress up in rainbow colours and make a donation which went towards the team's fundraising total.
