From Monday 17 July residents and visitors to Subiaco are invited to provide their feedback on further refinements to proposed parking controls in the town centre.
The town centre precinct is the area bound by Salvado Road to the north, Station Street, Railway and Roberts Roads to the west, Townshend Road to the east and Bagot Road to the south.
Further consultation was endorsed by council at the June OCM, with proposed refinements including:
- Finalise universal free night time and weekend parking in the precinct (City operated parking stations and on street parking)
- Implementation of paid parking stations on Churchill Avenue and Barker Rd
- Increasing parking in Subiaco Square from 30 mins to 1hr
The current Town Centre Precinct Parking Plan was endorsed by Council in 2018 following extensive consultation in June – July 2018.
