Further to a news story published on 12 July regarding roadworks on Hay and Olive streets, the City has been notified that the works have been further delayed.
EMCO Building – on behalf of their client, Devwest – have commenced significant sewer works on a project located near the Subiaco town centre, but undocumented Water Corporation structures were found that required a redesign of the planned sewer.
The road closures and diversions will remain in place until approximately 14 October 2023 when the works are now scheduled to be completed.
Those directly affected should have received a letter from the contractor with more details.
