From carollers and Christmas arts and crafts to festive cocktails and wreath-making workshops, there’s no shortage of events, workshops and promotions to enjoy in Subiaco this Christmas season.
Alongside festive events for people of all ages, there are plenty of boutiques and small businesses to stock up on gifts from, Christmas decorations (including a 13-metre-tall Christmas tree) lined up and down Rokeby Road, and free parking in Subipark carparks every evening from 5pm and all weekend long.
City of Subiaco Mayor David McMullen says, “Christmas is my favourite time of year. And who doesn’t love getting together with family, friends and colleagues to celebrate the festive season?
“There’s plenty on offer in Subiaco this month, including a free, family-friendly outdoor Christmas concert at Lake Jualbup, Christmas-themed crafts and stories at Subiaco Library and Subiaco Museum, beautiful festive light displays along Rokeby Road, and See Subiaco’s ‘Merry Moments’ events which spread Christmas cheer to people of all ages.”
