How to pay your rates

The City of Subiaco offers a number of ways to pay your rates. You will need to have your rates notice handy. Your individual payment reference number is located on the bottom right hand portion.

Register for e-rates

You now have the option of receiving your rates notices via email, rather than by post.

To declare your interest in receiving e-rates, register via the e-rates registration page, located at www.erateswa.com/subiaco/.

Online

Use the BPOINT online payment service to pay your rates directly to the City of Subiaco using your Visa or MasterCard credit card. Please note a credit card transaction limit of $10 000 applies.

Phone

Use the BPOINT phone payment service to to pay your rates directly to the City of Subiaco using your Visa or MasterCard credit card. Call 1300 276 468 and follow the instructions. Please note a credit card transaction limit of $10 000 applies.

Mail

Make cheques payable to the City of Subiaco and crossed 'not negotiable'. Insert the cheque and payment slip  into the reuseable envelope provided by the city and send to Locked Bag 16, Subiaco WA 6904. The top portion of the notice should be retained for your record of payment as receipts are not issued.

In person

Present your notice to the cashier at the City of Subiaco, 241 Rokeby Road, Subiaco between the hours of 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Payment can be made by:

  • cash
  • cheque
  • EFTPOS or credit card.

BPAY®

Payment of rates by BPAY® is available to customers of participating banks, credit unions and building societies and is accessible through your financial institution's online portal. To pay using BPAY® you will need the biller code and payment reference number located at the bottom of your rate notice. Please contact your financial institution for more information (minimum amount $5).

Australia Post

Present your notice to an Australia Post office or agency to pay by:

  • cash
  • cheque
  • EFTPOS or credit card.

Please note payments can only be accepted with the original bar coded rate notices presented intact.

Pensioner and senior concessions

To receive a concession a person must hold one or more of the appropriate Pensioner or Seniors cards and, on 1 July of the financial year, own and occupy residential property as their ordinary place of residence.

WA Seniors Card (SC)

  • Entitled to receive up to a 25% rebate on general rates and emergency services levy
  • The rebate on general rates is capped to a maximum amount the 2017/18 capping is $100
  • The deferment option is not available

WA Seniors Card (SC) and a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (CSHC)

  • Entitled to receive up to a 50% rebate on general rates and emergency services levy
  • The rebate on general rates is capped to a maximum amount  the 2017/18 capping is $750
  • May be entitled to defer your general rates and emergency services levy

Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) OR State Concession Card (SCC)

  • Entitled to receive up to a 50% rebate on general rates and emergency services levy
  • The rebate on general rates is capped to a maximum amount  the 2017/18 capping is $750
  • May be entitled to defer general rates and emergency services levy
