On 19 January the City of Subiaco Council approved amendments to the outdoor dining fees and charges for 2016, removing the annual outdoor dining permit fee.
The fee change is directed at supporting a diverse range of dining and drinking venues, particularly outdoors, and aims to benefit local businesses and the community at large by improving the activation of public spaces and adding vibrancy to the streetscape.
An application fee for a new outdoor dining permit still applies however there are no additional fees for renewal of a current permit.
The city resolved to amend the current outdoor dining fees in the 2015/2016 schedule of fees and charges by:
