Draft Transport, Access and Parking Strategy

The city has developed a draft Transport, Access and Parking Strategy (TAPS) to identify and affirm the strategic position of the city with regard to all aspects of transport, access and parking in Subiaco and how they relate to one another.

The Strategy will guide how we develop our parking regimes, both off and on-street, and will provide a basis for developing our public transport, road, cycling, pedestrian and other transport networks in addition to supporting infrastructure.

To ensure the draft TAPS meets the needs of the entire community for the next 20 years and beyond, the city is seeking your input on the strategy via an online survey.

Community consultation closes at 2pm on Monday 12 June 2017.

For further information, and to view the draft TAPS, please visit the draft Transport, Access and Parking Strategy project page on Have Your Say Subiaco.

Think2030 – reviewing the citys' Strategic Community Plan

All comments gathered through the online survey at www.think2030.com.au, hard-copy surveys and postcards have been crunched by an independent consultant.

A summary report of community data has been prepared which identifies emerging trends that will assist in the review of the city's Strategic Community Plan.

What happens next?

A draft plan that takes into consideration all think2030 feedback and other recent and relevant consultation projects will be presented to council to seek endorsement for further community consultation to take place.

Community consultation is expected to take place in June 2017 seeking feedback on the revised draft plan. Finalisation of the plan is expected to be presented to council for adoption in July 2017.
